Travel Itinerary Delhi to Char Dham Yatra, Uttarakhand

Going by road from Delhi to Uttarakhand, we will cover all the auspicious places that will come our way.

Day 1. Delhi to Haridwar:

This trip will begin from this holy place called Haridwar. Don’t miss their evening aarti.

Day 2. Haridwar to Barkot:

Barkot is the beautiful hill station in Yamountri, famous for Kempty Fall there.

Day 3. Barkot to Yamountri:

From the Jhanki Chatti, your first trekking will start for Yamountri Dham; it's almost a 6km trek. Horses and palki are available for those who struggle while climbing but at your own cost.

Day 4. Yamountri to Uttarkashi:

Vishwanath Temple is famous in Uttarkashi.

Day 5.Uttarkashi to Gangotri:

Gangotri is located between a beautiful range of Himalayas. After reaching there, you can do your second Char Dham Yatra and enjoy the holy aarti there.  

Day 6. Gangotri to Guptkashi:

Gupatkashi is 47 km away from Kedarnath. You can skip this place or stay one night there.

Day 7. Sonprayag to Kedarnath:

Here, your 3rd Char Dham Yatra begins. Sonprayag to Kedarnath is a 20km trekking way. The atmosphere there gives you a vibe for trekking.

Day 8. Return to Sonprayag: 

After doing darshan in the early morning of Kedarnath Dham, we will return to Sonprayag.

Day 9.Drive to Badrinath:

Badrinath Dham is famous for the temple of God Vishnu Ji. After attending the aarti and doing darshan of Badrinath Dham, one-night stays in a hotel.

Day 10. Return to Rishikesh:

As It would be 292km from Badrinath to Rishikesh, You will reach in the evening in Rishikesh. One night stay at the hotel and enjoy the beauty of Rishikesh and the evening aarti on Ganga ghat.

Day 11. Rishikesh to Delhi:

It’s up to you to explore Rishikesh or directly come back to Delhi.       

The Final Thought
